The Albert Dock
BEATLE 'GEMS' IN
Seaforth Village and Litherland in the north docklands are of the city has hosted an intriguing mural of the cities most famous sons - the Fab Four. John Lennon in leather-style garb sets a familiar pose similar to the statue featured opposite in Mathew Street in a traditional setting which lends itself to familiar artwork found in Belfast in Northern Ireland.
Located on Litherland's border with Seaforth Village, it is a two-minute walk from the Southport - Liverpool Mersey Rail Station on Croxteth Avenue. Trains are frequent at 15 minute intervals each way.
Political Loyalist Mark Ervine and Republican Danny Devenny of Belfast worked with Liverpool artists on the gable-end of this home in Litherland.
