The Hollies playing at The World Famous Cavern Club, Liverpool.
A group made up from scattering of Lankyland lads from all over the County Palatine:
This is the line-up that would make them internationally famous.
"I took some photos of a few of my Hollies' LPs, which I came across, for Lanky Beat. I thought your fans might be interested in these particular ones, because they were never released in the UK. Definitely, on one of the covers, you can clear see it is not English.
..The pics show band image changes from around 1966 - notice the cap, which is similar to the one John Lennon and Donovan wore on some photo shoots..
The suits and ties have now gone and it is open-neck shirts, a perm for Alan Clark with in-stripes and brightly coloured attire to grace the early seventies. What a change in style of hair and clothes!"
