I was the lead guitarist with The Blue Star Combo for a short while, I then went on to join The Papermates who where the backing band for The Paper Dolls, fronted by Susie Mathis. They had a hit with 'Something Here In My Heart'. The Paper Dolls where from Manchester but I have no photo's from my time with their backing band The Papermates as they where lost.
When this band came to its end I joined a group by the name of Jamie & Co, formed by Jamie Costello front man and lead singer. I can't remember the last names of the drummer, bass player and front man George, but someone may be able to help and refresh my memory..
I'm still involved with music but mainly write and perform my own songs these days, I've also been a background actor on the soap Coronation Street for over 30 years.
